"Send him the bill" DP World Tour pro stunned as angry player TEARS UP…

A video of an angry golfer tearing up a green following a missed putt has gone viral on social media this week.

The clip, which was posted on TikTok by the account @toodirtydom, has received just shy of 2,000 comments and rather worringly more than 70,000 likes.

It's also been reposted by the popular Twitter account @NUCLRGOLF where the shocking video was picked up by DP World Tour pro Joel Sjoholm, who was one of the most successful golfers in Georgia State University's history winning two titles.

As we join the clip, a man is seen putting from just outside of 10 feet.

A caption on the video then appears saying: "I had to make this putt for $500."

The putt is sent away and it narrowly misses on the high side.

The golfer in question then absolutely loses his cool.

The man proceeds to thrash his putter into the green not once, not twice, but three times!

The golfer's actions immediately churn up the green.

WATCH THE SHOCKING VIDEO HERE:

You can only imagine what the head greenkeeper had to say on the matter when he caught sight of it?!

Golf fans were absolutely livid after seeing the video on social media.

NUCLR GOLF tweeted:

"How would you punish this behaviour?"

To which Sjoholm replied:

"Change all of the grass on that particular green and then send him that bill!!!

Another tweeted:

"The scary part is people will watch this, thinks it’s cool, and do it themselves to get views. This is vandalism, this person should be charged with a crime."

What do you make of this golfer's actions? What should the correct punishment be when something like this happens on the golf course? Have you ever seen someone do this on a green? Share your thoughts and comments over on the GolfMagic social media channels.
