2. West Cornwall Golf Club

West Cornwall is a classic links golf course, whose rolling hills and deep bunkers are sure to test strategy as much as skill. It is located on St. Ives Bay, just a few hundred yards away from Lelant train station.

3. St. Mellion International Resort

St. Mellion boasts two championship courses - the Kernow Course and the Jack Nicklaus Signature Course, one of only six courses designed by the Golden Bear in England. Both of these courses could feature here in their own right, but the Nicklaus course is the main attraction. Has been voted as the second most difficult course in Britain (behind Carnousite). Although the green fees are steep at peak times in summer, there are some much more reasonable twilight rates.

Bude's 6,057-yard par-71 course is always well kept, but the hilly nature of this links track makes for plenty of blind tee shots and a tough day's golf.

5. Mullion Golf Club

Mullion is located on the cliffs of the lizard peninsula, making it the most southerly golf course in the country. At 6,083 yards off the white tees and 5,902 off the yellows, it's not the longest course around, but if the wind is blowing off the sea, then there will be more than enough to challenge any golfer.
