PGA Tour pro's wife joins the slow play discussion!

On Saturday at the PGA Tour's Rocket Mortgage Classic, Adam Hadwin shot a course record 63.

And apparently, his wife is partly to credit for his low scoring day.

If you hadn't already come across Jessica Hadwin's Twitter account before, you've been missing out.

Jessica is often part of the golf discussions on Twitter.

When Hadwin was tackled by a security guard on the green at the RBC Canadian Open last month, Jessica had some of the best tweets of the night.

When the broadcast cut to Hadwin watching Canadian Nick Taylor - who eventually won - from the side of the green, Jessica posted:

Shortly after, Hadwin was taken down by security, which prompted this hilarious tweet:

And the all-important update that Hadwin was OK:

Now, it appears Jessica is tackling the slow play issue on the PGA Tour.

After Hadwin's 9-under 63 that shot him up the leaderboard on Saturday in Detroit, he gave partial credit to something his wife had said to him during the CBS post-round interview.

"She tries to watch as much as she can and she kind of gave me the gears a little bit," he said of Jessica. "Like, 'you look uncomfortable out there, you look like you're deciding too much, you're taking too long. It's not just me.'"

He added:

"Fans in the crowd at LACC apparently were calling me out for it too. So, I've tried to be just a little bit more decisive this week. Get a number, get a club, let's get in there and hit."

Jessica responded to the clip, writing:

"Just doing my part in the battle against slow play in golf."

Hadwin ultimately fell just short of his second PGA Tour win on Sunday after losing to Rickie Fowler in a three-man playoff.
