The new TaylorMade SIM2 driver was officially launched this week and the brand's top stars - including new signing Tommy Fleetwood - took part in one of the latest promo videos where they had to build their own driver head.

It's not something the players are used to doing and you could tell that from the video, but it was great to get a closer look behind the scenes at Team TaylorMade as some of the best players on the planet pieced together the new SIM2 driver.

Rory McIlroy will put the new SIM2 driver in his bag for the first time this year as he competes on the European Tour's Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, as he looks to kickstart his year.

Fleetwood - who seemed to take a bit of banter from PGA Championship winner Collin Morikawa about his height in the video - also tees it up on the European Tour this week, making his first competitive start as a TaylorMade athlete.

The Englishman recently signed for TaylorMade after being a free agent on tour for a long time, although he was using TaylorMade clubs through choice before signing for the brand.

"This could be the start of something special," Fleetwood said on joining TaylorMade. "I have a feeling there are some exciting times ahead, I couldn't be happier to join Team TaylorMade."
