Cobra Golf is known for creating some of the best drivers in the world and now even their irons are up there, but something the brand has never really been known for is putters. But 14 years after their last release, Cobra has brought a new putter prototype to the market, and it's causing quite a stir.

All you need to know: Best Golf Putters

The new limited edition Cobra King Supersport 35 is the world's first commercial 3D putter and has been developed over the past two years in collaboration with COBRA engineers and the teams at HP and Parmatech.

It features a fully 3D printed metal body with an intricate lattice structure to optimize weight distribution and deliver high MOI. In addition to the 3D printed design, the KING Supersport-35 Putter features a face insert designed in partnership with SIK Golf.

Cobra King Supersport 35 putter - Key Features

COBRA’s Supersport putter, which comes in an oversized blade shape, features SIK Golf’s Descending Loft technology reengineered into an aluminum face insert.

This insert design strategically saves weight from the front of the putter to be repositioned heel-toe and tunes the feel to a slightly softer one than a traditional all-steel SIK putter face.

Their signature face design utilizes four descending lofts (4°, 3°, 2°, 1°) to cater to a range of putting strokes.

Should you buy the Cobra King Supersport 35 putter?

Due to the national lockdown in England, testing the new Supersport 35 putter was a little challenging, but Alex was able to get a good idea about the feel and weight of the putter at home using a PuttOut matt.

For a first 3D printed putter, Cobra have done a brilliant job. The weight of the putter creates a stable and balanced stroke and creating a high MOI in a blade putter is always difficult, but the Supersport 35 is packed with forgiveness.

In terms of looks, it's not the most eye-catching putter on the market, but if you're all about feel and MOI, then this putter could be a great option for you.
