GolfMagic was fortunate enough to receive a pair of Duca del Cosma's new Kuba golf shoes in a very snazzy white, green and red design - and we must admit we felt likened to an F1 driver while walking out to the first tee, just without the Ferrari in the car park.
As soon as we slipped the Kubas on, we immediately experienced a snug, comfort fit with its soft PU insole - a feeling that lasted the entirety of our round.
The overall levels of traction and stability with the shoe's 5mm nubs were also superb with little to no slippage on full swings, even when there was a bit of early morning dew on the ground.
When the heavens briefly opened on the back nine, the shoe's breathable and waterproof membrane - Waterproof Bootie System - worked its magic and kept our feet dry right the way through to the 19th.
The shoe very much provides a fashion-oriented look that is perfect for both on and off the course. We must have been stopped two or three times in the locker room by fellow golfers asking what brand of shoe we had on our feet.
Not the cheapest premium golf shoe in the world at €199 (so approximately £175), but its sleek, stylish, stable and very, very sexy.
Verdict
Quite probably the best golf shoe you weren't necessarily thinking about in 2018. Comfort, stability, waterproof and bags of style - what more could you possibly ask for?
