ICONIC heritage golf brand Lyle & Scott and golfing legend Tony Jacklin CBE have partnered to re-launch the Lyle & Scott embroidery collection.

Lyle & Scott weaved its way into the fabric of the golf fashion landscape in 1967 with the launch of its first golf range. The Golden Eagle motif - a symbol of elegance and quality - quickly became the choice of top professionals.

During this time, Tony Jacklin sported Hawick's finest knitwear on course and continued to do so during many of his outstanding achievements on the golf course.

"I am honoured to have the opportunity to work with heritage golf brand Lyle & Scott," said Jacklin, who won the 1969 Open and 1970 US Open.

"I wore it a lot during my many years of success on the golf course.

"Everyone has their own memories of wearing Lyle & Scott, mine were achievement, performance, and style to the highest level. This affinity with a brand is rare and something that I look forward to re-igniting."

The two-time major champ will be the figurehead of the re-launched global golf embroidery service. The choice of professionals, Lyle & Scott Golf Embroidery garments carry the crests of world renowned clubs, companies and corporate organisations.

All the work is produced to the highest standards by their own warehouse based embroidery division in Scotland using the latest computer technology.
