Three of the Best: 2013's best white putters
1. TaylorMade Ghost Tour DA-12 Putter - £89.99

1. TaylorMade Ghost Tour DA-12 Putter - £89.99

The Ghost Tour Series putter line consists of four models which are all used on tour by the pros. Our favourite is the blade of the line – the DA-12.

It incorporates a Pure Roll insert to promote a smooth, accurate roll. The face of the putter is milled for appearance reasons.

TaylorMade have produced numerous white products but the shade on this putter is a richer white than that used before. The main purpose of using white is to create a contrast with the green which makes lining up easier and also to reduce glare from the putter.

The putter has four degrees of loft and has adjustable sole weighting.

2. Versa #9 - £106

Odyssey’s tagline for the Versa line of putters is ‘one degree off-line is the difference between in and out’ which refers to the unique line-up aid of the Versa #9 – it doesn’t have one!

Instead, Odyssey created a putter with high contrast technology to highlight the proper face angle from address to impact, allowing golfers to align their putters through impact.

The new White Hot Insert provides a typically fantastic sound and feel and the half-moon shape produces a balanced putter head.

This is fantastic flat stick and is currently my putter of choice. Read our full review here

3 Yes! Sandy-12 - £94

The Yes! Sandy-12 already has a number of wins on the PGA Tour so you’re assured quality. It’s a great looking mallet putter and the fangs seems to frame the ball which increases confidence when standing over a putt.

The white body and black lines come together to form the True-Square alignment feature. It has a polymer insert behind the face to give a soft yet responsive feel.

Yes! are a new brand on the block and are creating some serious waves. A serious putter.
