Golf Practice Drills: top five range drills
1. Stick aiming drill

The top five range drills article is our second in the General Practice Drills series.

To improve accuracy and regulate the swing path of the club, Sam puts out a stick or umbrella in the ground about 12 feet away from him.

Line the stick up with the line of the ball then hit a few shots either side of it, your swing should automatically put a touch of fade or draw on your ball flight.

Once you feel comfortable with this drill, try the three ball routine where you aim one left, one right, then try and hit the stick directly.
