Home favourite Jung-Hwan Lee secured a three-shot win at the Genesis Championship.
The South Korean carded a final round of 64 at Woo Jeong Hills CC on Sunday to reach 11-under par.
England's Laurie Canter rattled home an 100-foot eagle putt on the 72nd hole to share second place with Spain's Nacho Elvira.
Lee, 34, started the final round four shots behind joint leaders Mikael Linberg and Elvira.
He reeled off five straight birdies from the third to surge up the leaderboard and tussled with Elvira down the stretch.
But bogeys at 17 and 18 for Elvira handed Lee a three-shot win and the top prize of €585,898.
It means that Lee will now take up DP World Tour membership and will travel to Abu Dhabi next month for the first leg of the season-ending play-offs.
"I feel like I'm in a dream, I still can't believe I won so it's really hard to describe how I'm feeling right now," Lee told Sky Sports Golf.
"I think overall I played very well, but on 12 I had a tee-shot miss and I thought I was done there but I was able to save that ball, and that's when I thought the tables are turning and the gods are looking down on me.
"I really feeling like I'm dreaming. I really, really wanted to go to DP World Tour and I was actually working really hard towards that goal, but somehow I was coming up short a little bit - I was really making the effort - and now I have this really great opportunity. I'm just really grateful."

The Genesis Championship marked the final event of the Tour's 'Back 9'.
Only the top 115 in the Race to Dubai Rankings earned their playing privileges for the 2026 campaign.
Germany's Yannik Paul began the week in 116th place and missed the cut.
Only two years ago Paul was in contention for a spot on the European Ryder Cup team but now faces and uncertain future.
He told reporters he was "devastated" but admitted he hasn't been good enough this year.
Paul will now head to Q-School.
Jordan Gumberg needed a birdie on the final hole to have any chance of securing his card.
But the American went one butter, holing out for eagle to secure his playing rights.

THAT'S UNBELIEVABLE!!
