Golf legend Sir Nick Faldo says he is thrilled Guide Dogs will continue to be the official charity partner of the Betfred British Masters.

The multiple major champion has been the tournament host for the past three editions of the popular tournament on the DP World Tour

In 2024, more than £60,000 was raised for the sight loss charity through activations at The Belfry.

Guide Dogs helps people with sight loss live the life they choose. Whether it's children or adults, friends or family. Whoever they are, the expert staff, volunteers and life-changing dogs are there to help them.

Founded in 1934, following their first partnership in 1931, Guide Dogs is a charity that is almost entirely dependent on donations.

Faldo said: "I am thrilled to welcome Guide Dogs back to the Betfred British Masters as the official charity again in 2025.

"It was great to learn more about the fantastic work Guide Dogs do during last year's event and I am so grateful to everybody, particularly our title partner Betfred, for their generosity as we raised a huge £60,000 which makes a real difference to those living with sight loss in the UK.

"I'm looking forward to spending some time with the Guide Dogs team again this year and hopefully we can raise more vital funds during the Betfred British Masters."

Tournament title partners Betfred have once again pledged to support the fundraising efforts and will donate £500 for every eagle made during the week, as well as £500 for every player that drives the famous tenth green on the iconic Brabazon Course.

They will also donate £50,000 for the first hole-in-one made by a professional on the iconic par three 14th hole, the same hole that Faldo recorded an ace during the 1993 Ryder Cup.

Betfred boss Fred Done said: "Several Guide Dogs joined us at the Belfry last year and their displays in the fans' village were a terrific addition to the event.

"I'm delighted that Sir Nick has decided to go with Guide Dogs once again and let's hope the players are able to raise a good few quid."

The ever-popular long-putt challenge will return to the PGA Village, alongside the iconic shots simulator, giving spectators the opportunity to win fantastic prizes and donate to Guide Dogs.

The drive the green simulator will be located in the Brabazon Village. Spectators can take part in each of the activations for a minimum donation of just £3, while donation points will be situated in various locations around The Belfry.

Andrew Lennox, CEO at Guide Dogs, said: "We're absolutely delighted that Guide Dogs is once again the official charity partner of the Betfred British Masters.

"Last year's partnership made a real difference, raising vital awareness and funds to help people living with sight loss live the life they choose.

"We're incredibly grateful to the DP World Tour, Betfred, and all the fans and players for their continued support, and we look forward to another fantastic tournament this year.”

This year's Betfred British Masters will be the final counting event for European Ryder Cup qualification, adding extra significance as the race to make captain Luke Donald's team reaches its conclusion.

An already impressive field is assembling as players battle for crucial Ryder Cup points, with skipper Donald already confirmed, alongside U.S. team vice captain Brandt Snedeker, major winner Matt Fitzpatrick and defending champion Niklas Nørgaard.

The Betfred British Masters has a rich legacy as one of the DP World Tour's most historic events.

This year's tournament will be the DP World Tour's 22nd event held at The Belfry, with the Sutton Coldfield venue first hosting the Lada English Golf Classic, won by the late Seve Ballesteros in 1979.
