Jon Rahm's LIV Golf team, Legion XIII, is set to be formally introduced tomorrow ahead of LIV's season opener in Mexico.

LIV Golf is set to formally announce the final piece in its team puzzle tomorrow, with the breakaway Tour tweeting a frankly terrifying photo of Jon Rahm to tease the introduction of his new team.

Since Rahm joined LIV, there has been no shortage of rumours surrounding who will be joining the two-time major champion's team, and with the recent news that Tyrrell Hatton will be entering the Saudi-backed league, it appears that a full roster has been assembled just in time for the start of the season.

While yet to be formally announced, Hatton will likely be unveiled as a new LIV player tomorrow, having signed a contract set to be worth a reported $60 million

Not quite the eye-watering $450 million contract Rahm was presented with, however, the European Ryder Cup duo will likely fancy their chances of picking up plenty of extra cash this season, as they are currently ranked as the two best players on the Tour, with Rahm currently ranked third in the OWGR rankings, with Hatton sitting sixteenth.

Rahm and Hatton will be joined by American amateur Caleb Surratt and LIV promotions graduate Kieran Vincent.

With all four players now assembled, there are only two additional details yet to be confirmed. The first of those is pretty much nailed on, and that's the name.

Rahm appears to have opted for Legion XIII, a name that not only signifies the team being the thirteenth team on LIV's roster but also has ties to one of Julius Ceaser's most famous Roman legions during his time as Emperor of Rome.

Could that be a subtle nod to Rahm and Hatton's dominance at the most recent Ryder Cup in Rome? Who knows, we will have to ask him if we ever get the chance.

The second missing detail is the team's logo. Will we see a classic Roman numeral logo, or will LIV's newest team be a bit more adventurous with their branding? We will have to wait until tomorrow to find out.

Ahead of the official announcement, LIV Golf tweeted the following image of Rahm looking menacingly into the camera.

It's fair to say the Spaniard has opted for a rather menacing introduction to the world of LIV Golf, and with Hatton now joining him, we expect fireworks when LIV Mayakoba kicks off this week.
