Tyrrell Hatton Biography

Tyrrell Hatton is an English professional golfer who plays on the DP World Tour and PGA Tour

He was born on 14 October, 1991 in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.

Hatton turned professional in 2011 and joined the European Tour - now known as the DP World Tour - in 2012.

He has won several professional golf tournaments, including four Rolex Series events on the European Tour. 

Hatton won his first European Tour event at the 2016 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. 

He then followed it up with wins at the 2017 Italian Open and the 2019 Turkish Airlines Open.

One of his biggest victories to date came in 2020 when he won the tour's flagship event: the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth 

Hatton has also had success in international team events, representing Europe in the 2018 and 2020 Ryder Cup.

In 2018, he won two of his three matches at Le Golf National in Paris as Thomas Bjorn's side emerged the winners of the biennial event. 

Hatton defeated Patrick Reed 3&2 in the Sunday Singles. 

He was also part of Padraig Harrington's side that was defeated 19-9 at Whistling Straits in September 2021. 

Hatton captured his maiden PGA Tour title at the 2020 Arnold Palmer Invitational. 

As of March 2023, his career earnings of the PGA Tour total $14,902,225 and €19,357,014.87 on the old world circuit. 

The Englishman, who is known for his fiery temper on the course, is a PING staff player. 

He also represents adidas Golf, Titleist, NetJets, Principal, The Condor and Audemars Piguet.
