Report: LIV Golf confirm two new signings ahead of 2024 campaign
LIV Golf have reportedly made two new signings ahead of the 2024 campaign, which kicks off on 2 February in Mexico.
LIV Golf have reportedly snagged two more signings ahead of the 2024 season, according to a report.
Per FlushingIt - who broke the news Jon Rahm was joining the breakaway last December - it is said 'two new players' have agreed terms and conditions with the rival league.
One golfer will be joining Martin Kaymer's Cleeks, making an all-European side, and the other will fill a spot on Rahm's team.
LIV will begin their third campaign in Mexico on 2 February but Rahm has yet to reveal who will be on his team yet.
It is anticipated one of the spots will be filled by the talented youngster Caleb Surratt.
Rahm's side, reportedly called Legion XIII, are also likely to have one player who made their way onto LIV via their version of qualifying school.
England's Tommy Fleetwood and Tyrrell Hatton have both recently confirmed they were targets for LIV.
Fleetwood appeared to reject the offer completely whereas Hatton seemed to be more open to the idea of a switch.
"As of right now, yeah," Hatton told reporters in Dubai when asked if he was happy plying his trade on the PGA Tour and DP World Tour.
It has also been reported Rahm had previously tried to recruit Tony Finau before the American poured cold water on the rumours by writing on X: "I'm not leaving."
Reigning U.S. Open champion Wyndham Clark was reportedly in discussions with LIV but that deal appeared to fall through.
Poland's Adrian Meronk also sparked rumours he was going to join LIV after he was a late withdrawal from the Farmers Insurance Open.
