Nelly Korda extended her remarkable start to the 2026 LPGA season with a commanding victory at the Riviera Maya Open at Mayakoba, securing her third win of the year and second in successive weeks.

The world number one carded a composed three-under-par 69 in the final round to finish on 17-under par, four shots clear of Thailand’s Arpichaya Yubol.

The win follows her third career major triumph at last week’s Chevron Championship, underlining a run of form that has quickly become one of the most dominant stretches in recent women’s golf.

Korda, 27, has now finished no worse than second in all six of her LPGA starts this season — a feat matched only by LPGA legend Annika Sorenstam in the history of the tour.

Despite admitting to feeling mentally and physically fatigued heading into the weekend, Korda showed little sign of vulnerability on Sunday.

She maintained full control throughout the final round, and even had the cushion to afford a bogey on the par-5 18th, still cruising to a four-shot victory.

Speaking after claiming her 18th career LPGA title, Korda pointed to a more relaxed approach as a key factor behind her success.

“I’m just enjoying myself — I love the competition,” she said.

“I love travelling to places like Mexico and all over the world. I’m just having fun.

“You put the same amount of work in every time — you just never know — it’s golf. I was humbled at the last hole, I had a pretty smooth day otherwise.

“Everyone out here puts in the work — I’m so thankful to have such a great team around me. We’re all motivated and just happy to be out here.”

That lighter mindset appears to be unlocking her best golf, with three victories already this season — a stark contrast to last year’s drought.

Yubol mounted a late push with two closing birdies to secure solo second at 13-under par, while China’s Yu Liu finished third on 12-under after matching Korda’s final-round 69.

American Brianna Do claimed fourth place at 10-under par, with Colombian amateur Maria Jose Marin completing the top five on eight-under.
