Previous caddies
Young turned professional in 2019 and has employed several different caddies through his time on the Tour.
His best pal Scott McKean was on the sticks for a brief period and was on his bag for both of his Korn Ferry Tour victories.
Young then hired Keegan Bradley's former caddie Chad Reynolds and the pair were together when Young finished runner-up to Cameron Smith at the landmark 150th Open.
Reynolds also worked for former Masters champ and two-time U.S. PGA Championship winner Vijay Singh.
Eight months after his best finish in a major at the home of golf, Young linked up with Paul Tesori.
Their working relationship was short-lived, though, as Tesori - who spent 12 years working for Webb Simpson - was lured away by Tom Kim.
Young then turned to his former Wake Forest teammate Wayne de Haas and Paul McBride before he settled with Underwood.
Who is Steve Underwood?
Underwood has previously caddied for very successful golfers.
As mentioned, he has worked with former World No. 1 and Ryder Cup captain Luke Donald, as well as Morgan Hoffman, K.J. Choi, Tim Clark, and Carl Yuan.
Choi earned the nickname 'Tiger Slayer' after he defeated the 15-time major champion head-to-head in his prime during the 2007 AT&T National.
At the time, it was considered a rare feat given Woods' record when playing in the final group on a Sunday.
Young and Underwood began working together before the start of the 2024 season.
He is still searching for his first PGA Tour win.
