Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches field 2026: Brooks Koepka makes his first PGA Tour start since missing the cut at the WM Phoenix Open - who is joining him?
The PGA Tour heads to Florida for The Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches.
The tournament is the first of four events that will be staged in the Florida swing before the very best in the world head to Augusta National for the 2026 Masters Tournament.
Unfortunately, the $9.6m stop falls a week after a signature event at Riviera and therefore a number of high-profile players have decided not to take on the infamous Bear Trap.
Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, Xander Schauffele, Tommy Fleetwood and Collin Morikawa are among those not in the 123-man field.
Pre-tournament favourites Ben Griffin and Jacob Bridgeman withdrew from the event on Monday.
America's Ryan Gerard, Ireland's Shane Lowry and England's Aaron Rai are the other three top 30 players in the field.
All eyes will likely be on Brooks Koepka this week, though, as he makes his first start since missing the cut at the WM Phoenix Open.
Koepka quit LIV Golf last December and made his first start on the PGA Tour in more than four years at the Farmers Insurance Open in January where he finished T56.
He was absent from the signature events at Pebble Beach and Riviera as he needs to qualify for the bumper-prize purse tournaments on merit.
The Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches gets underway on Thursday.
