Rory McIlroy will bid to win his first PGA Tour title of the season and a first-prize cheque of $1.6m at this week's newly-named Cognizant Classic at The Palm Beaches.

The tournament was formerly known as the Honda Classic, which McIlroy won back in 2012.

Back then, McIlroy won $1.026m

The Cognizant Classic will once again be contested on the fearsome PGA National Resort Champion Course.

Matt Fitzpatrick is the only other player in the world's top 20 competing in the Cognizant Classic.

The Englishman is currently ninth in the world rankings despite getting off to a torrid start on the PGA Tour this season.

Fitzpatrick will be looking to get his season back on track this week having missed two of his last four cuts.

Other star names on show include Cameron Young, who is still unthinkably looking for his maiden PGA Tour title, as well as Russell Henley, Eric Cole, Rickie Fowler and defending champion Chris Kirk.

Let's take a closer look at how much they will all earn at this week's PGA Tour event.
