Golf legend Sir Nick Faldo was one of 160 guests to attend the State Banquet as King Charles hosted US President Donald Trump in the stunning St George's Hall at Windsor Castle on Wednesday night.
Faldo, 68, was one of a number of sporting stars at the State Banquet, which also included athlete Dame Kathleen Grainger.
The dining table stretched with terrifying symmetry at a lavish St George's Hall with 1,452 pieces of cutlery and five glasses per person, polished to perfection.

Mr Trump and the first lady Melania Trump received a personal greeting from The King and the Price and Princess of Wales once arriving at Windsor Castle on Wednesday.
The King couldn't help but drop a golf comment into his five-minute speech with avid golfer Mr Trump sat alongside him.
"Mr President, you have spoken of your pride of your British roots, in fact not only have you set foot on British soil twice in the last two months alone, but I understand British soil makes for rather splendid golf courses," said The King, to the cries of laughter from those in attendance and a wry smile from Mr Trump.
Mr Trump then got up to give his own speech and said he was "deeply grateful" to have been invited to a second state visit.
He added: "This is truly one of the highest honours of my life, such respect for you and such respect for your country."

Faldo took to social media alongside his wife Lindsay to post his latest update ahead of attending the State Banquet.
"On our way," wrote Faldo.
Why was golf legend Sir Nick Faldo at the State Banquet?
Trump and Faldo share a close relationship.
In 2013, Faldo helped redesign Trump’s Doral course in Miami, which cemented their professional ties.
Trump has heaped praise on him ever since.
Faldo last year atttended one Trump's rallys in Montana alongside his fourth wife Lindsay, a former topless dancer who is an ardent Republican supporter and die-hard MAGA fan.
During Trump's speech that week, he labelled Faldo as a "major friend of mine" and Lindsay as "his beautiful wife".
He then floated the idea that Faldo could come and join his government should he get re-elected later in three months' time.
"I'm a golfer, I love golf... this guy is a major golfer," Trump said of Faldo as he addressed his adoring Republican fans.
"He is a major friend of mine. One of the best ever.
"They knighted him in England or the UK. And he just knew how to win.
"He could take people, he'd play the best players in the world, and they always folded in front of him.
"In fact, I think I need to bring him into government 'cause we like to get other people to fold.
"And his nickname is Foldo because he makes everyone but his name is Faldo.
"Nick Faldo and his beautiful wife, Lindsay. Where is Nick?"
A red-faced Faldo was then picked out in the crowd and he raised his hands aloft with his wife Lindsay.
After the somewhat bizarre comment for Faldo to come join his government, the former World No.1 then hit back at such a claim.
Watch Trump pile praise on Faldo:
Trump: And one of our greatest golfers in the history of. I'm a golfer, I love golf. This guy is a major golfer. He's a major friend of mine, one of the best ever. They knighted him in in England or in UK. I’d like to bring him into government. Nick Faldo. pic.twitter.com/A9BtAk1cKu

Before attending Wednesday's State Banquet, six-time major champion Faldo took to social media to give his thoughts on next week's Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black.
Despite an away team failing to win the Ryder Cup since Medinah in 2012, Faldo is confident Luke Donald's team can get the job done in New York.
"I really believe the guys are on a mission to win away," wrote Faldo.
"Things will probably have to be handled/dealt with from outside the ropes, but inside the ropes this team has great depth and experience!"
