Brian Campbell won his second title of the 2025 PGA Tour season with playoff victory over Emiliano Grillo at the John Deere Classic.
Both Campbell and Grillo carded rounds of 67 to finish the week at 18-under par at TPC Deere Run in Illinois.
But it was Campbell, 32, who sealed the deal with a par on the first extra hole, the par-4 18th, after Grillo made bogey.
The victory marks the second of Campbell's season having won the Mexico Open also in a playoff back in February.
Campbell becomes the sixth multiple winner on the PGA Tour this season, joining Rory McIlroy, Scottie Scheffler, Sepp Straka, Ben Griffin and Ryan Fox.
He earns a cool $1.5m for winning the John Deere Classic.
Campbell also nudges himself up to 28th in the season-long FedEx Cup standings, and jumps from 115th to a career-best 55th in the Official World Golf Rankings.
David Lipsky eagled the par-5 17th to pull level with Campbell and Grillo in regulation play, but he would fall out of the lead when making bogey on the par-4 18th.
Lipsky ended the week on 17-under par in a tie for third alongside Kevin Roy.
Max Homa had moved into a two-shot lead in the early stages of the final round, but he played the final 14 holes in 1-over par to end up in a logjam tie for fifth, which marked his best finish of the season.
Overnight leader Davis Thompson endured a final day to forget with a round of 1-over 72, which was the worst score in the top 30, and he ended up in a tie for 18th on 14-under par.

Campbell wins the John Deere Classic after Grillo makes a complete hash of things on the first playoff hole, the par-4 18th.
Grillo missed the fairway in the right rough, and he had to replace his ball after it was picked up by a marshal in the crowd.
Campbell split the fairway and then sent a short iron in to 15 feet.
Grillo appeared to get something of a flyer and sailed the back of the green.
The Argentine then came up short of the pin with his third, and he failed to make par.
Campbell was left with the luxury of two-putting from 15 feet for the win.

Victory at the 2025 John Deere Classic marks the second title of Campbell's career, all coming this season having won the Mexico Open, also in a playoff, back in February.
Campbell also becomes the sixth multiple winner on the PGA Tour in 2025, joining Scheffler, McIlroy, Straka, Griffin and Fox.

Lipsky makes bogey on 18 to surrender a chance of a first PGA Tour title.
The American duck-hooked his tee shot into the rough and he then decided to lay up 100 yards short of the green in the fairway.
From there he sent a wedge beyond the pin to 10 feet but agonisingly missed his par putt on the left edge.
He tapped in for bogey for a round 68 to finish tied third with Roy.
Grillo and Campbell are now headed to a playoff, which will begin on the 18th.

The Argentine is in the house with Campbell at 18-under.
Lipsky is the only man that can catch or surpass them.
Lipsky is looking over a 10 footer for eagle on the par-5 17th to move to 18-under.

It's a round of 67 for the American, who is seeking a second title on the PGA Tour this season.

From outta nowhere, Campbell hits his worst drive of the week into the penalty area down the left flank on the par-4 15th.
He takes his drop and it leads to a double-bogey six.
Campbell goes from one ahead to one behind Grillo.

It's a brilliant birdie on the tough par-4 18th for Roy.
He cards a 65 to set the clubhouse target of 17-under par.
Campbell -19 (14)
Campbell made a shocking mistake to find the bunker off the tee while laying up on the short par-4 14th.
He then compounded that mistake by going over the back of the green with his approach shot.
But he played a brilliant chip shot from there to save par and remain one shot ahead.

It's a disappointing three-putt bogey on the 18th for Bridgeman, who is now out of it at 16-under.
Grillo -17 (10)
Grillo hits a beautiful wedge shot into a foot for birdie on the par-5 10th.
He taps it in and the Argentine moves to 17-under and just one back.
Grillo is going in search of a third PGA Tour title.

Campbell makes a fourth birdie of the day and a second in a row to move to 18-under par and one shot ahead of Jacob Bridgeman, who has just birdied the par-5 17th.
