The PGA Tour has caved to one of Jon Rahm's demands as rumours swirl about the future of the Spaniard.

On the very same day Rahm is said to have agreed a $600m deal with the rival LIV Golf League, it has been confirmed the North American circuit will be increasing the number of restrooms available to players at Tour events.

Rahm complained about the lack of toilets available in August. Whilst some players asked for bigger prize purses and compensation for not joining LIV, the World No.3 had a much simpler request.

The 2023 Masters champion was asked about what changes he would like to see to the PGA Tour make in light of the announcement the circuit had entered into a 'framework agreement' with LIV's Saudi financiers.

"I can tell you right now my priorities are a lot lower than what a lot of people would think," Rahm previously explained.

"I know this is going to sound very stupid, but as simple as having a freaking port-a-potty on every hole."

He added: "It sounds crazy, but I can't choose when I have to go to the bathroom. I've told the Tour this many times, as simple as that.

"I've mentioned many times making the Tour better for the players, and I mean that.

"The very basic things they can do in tournaments to make them all as good as they can be is where I'd like to see some changes. It's not usually what's on people's minds."

A memo to the PGA Tour membership dated 22 November obtained by Josh Carpenter of Sports Business Journal outlines the changes that are coming in 2024.

The memo outlines how each PGA Tour event has to have a minimum of eight 'relief stations' across 18 holes.

There will be a minimum of four relief stations per nine holes and each station will include two restrooms.

Elsewhere, the Tour outlined plans for a 'complimentary courtesy car program' and improvements to the nutrition and dining facilities.

It is also claimed there will be a 'more detailed' PGA Tour caddie dining program.
