Michael Kim’s Christmas giveaway sends four golf fans to PGA Tour event of their choice
PGA Tour pro and recent Open de France champion Michael Kim delivers dream giveaway for golf fans in 2026.

PGA Tour pro Michael Kim spread some festive cheer this Christmas by offering four golf fans tickets to any PGA Tour event of their choosing in 2026.
Kim announced the giveaway on Christmas Eve via social platform X, inviting followers to enter for the chance to attend a tournament of their dreams — with an extra, once-in-a-lifetime twist.
Kim wrote on X / Twitter:
Final holiday giveaway!
Tickets to ANY Pgatour event.
Players, WM Phx open, Pebble, you name it, I’ll get you 4 tickets to the event.
You can even caddie for me in the pro am IF you want.
Comment which event you might want to go to (not final), repost, like to enter.”
The response was overwhelming, with more than 6,000 entries submitted over the festive period.
Kim revealed the winner on Boxing Day, announcing that Dave Laib had landed the prize. Laib will head to the Memorial Tournament at Jack Nicklaus’ Muirfield Village in early June, accompanied by three of his friends.
Congrats to @DaveLaib!

Kim also appears to have handed tickets to Sliced Podcast host Sam Harrop for the Scottish Open, courtesy of writing him a song.
Harrop will also get to caddie for him in the Scottish Open Pro-Am by the looks of things, too!
Extremely kind of you, Mike! If you’re serious about the pro-am caddie part - that would be incredible. Something I’ve always wanted to do.

The generous giveaway came just 24 hours after Kim made headlines of his own by reacting to Brooks Koepka’s shock exit from the LIV Golf League.
Kim suggested Koepka could face “less difficulty coming back than others” should the five-time major champion seek a return to the PGA Tour, after stunning the golf world by leaving LIV Golf on 23 December — despite reportedly having one year remaining on a contract worth around $125 million.

Kim, 32, shared his thoughts on X / Twitter moments after the news broke, pointing to Koepka’s stature within the game and recent leadership changes on the PGA Tour as potential advantages.
“ZERO insider knowledge but my two cents: PGA Tour puts out a super nothing statement lol. Obviously a statement to keep all options open,” Kim wrote on X / Twitter.
“I assume with LIV letting Brooks go, there’s an understanding that he doesn’t play anywhere in 26 except prob the majors.
“Brooks is one of the well liked guys that went to LIV. I’m going to guess that he’s going to have less difficulty coming back than others especially with Brian Rolapp in charge.
“Brooks is a star and an important figure in golf. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Brooks playing a full tour schedule along with the big changes coming in a couple yrs.
“Again, I have no intimate knowledge. Just a big guess.”
ZERO insider knowledge but my two cents:

Kim recently edged Koepka at the Open de France on the DP World Tour, claiming the first DP World Tour title of his career. His sole PGA Tour victory to date came at the John Deere Classic in 2018.
