RBC Canadian Open Prize Money Payouts: check out how much champion Ryan Fox and other PGA Tour players earned at TPC Toronto.

Ryan Fox scooped a first prize of $1.76m after landing his second title in his last four starts with playoff victory on the PGA Tour at the RBC Canadian Open.

Fox, 38, defeated Sam Burns with a birdie on the fourth extra hole at TPC Toronto.

The New Zealander hit what he later described as "probably the shot of my life" in the fourth playoff hole.

They played the par-5 18th all four times.

Fox sent a stunning fairway wood in to seven feet to set up the win.

Burns made the job easier for Fox when three-putting for par from 40 feet.

Fox then two-putted for birdie and the win.

The victory surges Fox up to 25th in the season-long FedEx Cup standings.

It marks Fox's second career title in his last four starts on the PGA Tour having won the Oneflight Myrtle Beach Classic in May.

Despite falling short of a sixth career win on the PGA Tour, Burns takes consolation from some much-needed U.S. Ryder Cup points and a runner-up prize of $1m.
