New Zealand's Ryan Fox captured his second career PGA Tour title in his last four starts after defeating Sam Burns in a playoff at the RBC Canadian Open at TPC Toronto.
Fox, 38, drained a clutch birdie putt from 20 feet on the par-5 18th to force extra holes down the same hole with Burns.
Both players then made pars on the first three extra holes before Fox sealed the deal at the fourth time of asking.
Fox sent a stunning fairway wood into seven feet for eagle, which piled the pressure on Burns, who sent his second shot to some 40 feet.
Burns then three-putted from there to leave the door open for Fox, who two-putted for birdie for the win.
After the tournament, Fox described his second shot on the fourth playoff hole as "probably the shot of my life".
The victory marks Fox's second in the space of a month having won the Oneflight Myrtle Beach Classic in May.
He also won that event in a playoff over Mackenzie Hughes and Harry Higgs.
Fox, who is a four-time winner on the DP World Tour, scooped a jackpot prize of $1.76m for winning the RBC Canadian Open.
He now surges to 25th in the season-long FedEx Cup standings.
Fox birdied the 18th to post a round of 4-under 66 and join Burns at the top of the board on 18-under par.
Burns had set the early clubhouse target after surging through the field with an exceptional 8-under 62.
But it was not to be for Burns, who was looking to win for the sixth time in his career and for the first time in 27 months.

"It was very hard faught, it was bit scratchy for 13 holes today," said a relieved Fox when speaking to Sky Sports Golf's Wayne Riley on the 18th green.
"I made a couple of good saves there and then just found it on the last four or five holes with some great shots and holed a couple of putts.
"I was pretty lucky to make that putt on 18 in regulation, it was dying on the left side and just snuck in.
"Didn't hit great shots in the playoff and Sam let me off first time round, and it was nice to hit a good one on 18 at the fourth time, it was probably the best shot I've ever hit, and nice to do it in these kind of circumstances."
When asked what's going through his head right now after winning twice in his last four starts, the Kiwi replied: "Honestly, I can't tell you what's going through my head right now because I'll get in trouble for that."
Fox added: "I'm still trying to process it. It's crazy, the last four weeks. I've played some of the best golf I've ever played."

Kevin Yu birdied the 18th to finish solo third on 17-under par.
Cameron Young was left to rue another near miss on the PGA Tour.
He admitted he was both "angry and frustrated" after having flown the 18th green with his 3-wood.
It led to a costly bogey-six as Young slipped into a tie for fourth.
Young's wait for a first PGA Tour title continues with seven runner-up finishes to his name.
Fox now turns his attention to this week's U.S. Open at Oakmont.
It will mark Fox's seventh appearance at the U.S. Open.
The New Zealander has played in 23 majors but has never achieved a top-10 finish.
His best major result is a T16 at The Open at Royal Portrush in 2019.
The Open returns there in July.
