You might be wondering why the PGA Tour stars were wearing yellow ribbons on their hats during the Cognizant Classic.
There is a very simple and heart-warming reason why.
The ribbons are part of a charity initiative called Play Yellow, spearheaded by living golf legend Jack Nicklaus and his wife Barbara.
Money raised helps raise awareness for children's hospitals in North America. Since 2019, more than $100m has been given to charity.

The Golden Bear hopped into the commentary booth during the coverage on NBC over the weekend to explain more.
His foundation has been the primary charity partner of the tournament since 2007.
Clearly, yellow is a significant colour to Nicklaus as he wore it on Sundays during tournaments over the course of his illustrious career.
According to the official PGA Tour website, Nicklaus began wearing the colour after meeting a child named Craig who was diagnosed with bone cancer.
After asking the child what his favourite colour was, Nicklaus told the boy he would always wear it on Sundays when Craig was watching.
The Play Yellow initiative has also been a feature of the Memorial, of which Nicklaus hosts, since 2019.

The Cognizant Classic was forced into a Monday finish after inclement weather delayed the tournament.
A number of golf fans on social media were furious, given the forecast looked horrendous.
Austin Eckroat was closing in on his maiden win when play was suspended on Sunday evening.
South Africa's Erik van Rooyen was also in the mix.
