Big-hitting Bryson DeChambeau will be making his third Ryder Cup appearance at Bethpage Black in 2025.

The two-time major champion, 32, made his debut in Paris in 2018, but endured a tough week at Le Golf National.

He lost all three of his matches - partnering Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods, before falling to Alex Noren in the Sunday singles.

Three years later, at Whistling Straits, DeChambeau redeemed himself with some stellar play where he thrilled the partisan crowd with an electric performance.

A highlight saw DeChambeau drive the first green before rolling in the 41-foot putt for eagle.

Elsewhere, he struck up a formidable partnership with Scottie Scheffler in fourballs, halving with Jon Rahm/Tyrrell Hatton before beating Tommy Fleetwood/Viktor Hovland.

In the Sunday singles, he capped off his week with an emphatic 3&2 singles victory over Sergio Garcia as Team USA stormed to a record 19–9 win.

DeChambeau then struggled with injuries to his hip and wrist. His woes coincided with his switch to the lucrative LIV Golf League and he was overlooked by captain Zach Johnson for the 2023 matches in Italy.

But he earned his way back in 2025 after a string of victories on the LIV circuit and a return to major-winning form at the 2024 US Open.

DeChambeau is likely to be box office viewing at Bethpage Black.

He has promised to bring a 'tsunami' of supporters and believes Europe will struggle to cope with the volatile atmosphere.
