Golf fans baffled as Rory McIlroy silhouette features on USA Ryder Cup T-shirt?!
Ryder Cup fans in disbelief after seeing what appears to be a silhouette of Rory McIlroy on a new 2025 Team USA Ralph Lauren T-shirt.
Golf fans have taken to social media after noticing Team USA is selling a Ryder Cup shirt featuring what appears to be a silhouette of Rory McIlroy on it.
The new Ralph Lauren T-shirt is available to purchase on the official Ryder Cup website in navy for $65.
But rather than the price, it's the graphic of what appears to be a silhouette of five-time major champion McIlroy that has shocked a number of Ryder Cup fans.
McIlroy, of course, plays for Europe and not the United States.
The T-shirt was originally posted on X / Twitter by Iain MacMillan and then it was shared by popular golf account NUCLR Golf.
"Yikes fire the intern," said one fan.
Another stunned fan commented: "Appears to be???? That IS Rory. Unreal."
"That's definitely Rory," wrote one.
"You couldn't make it up," typed another.
One American wrote: "Surely they werenโt this stupid. Euros are going to have a field day..."

The tagline for the new Ralph Lauren Team USA T-shirt reads on the website:
"Designed for the 2025 U.S. Ryder Cup Team Collection, this cotton T-shirt commemorates this yearโs competition with a bold golfer graphic," reads the tagline on the website.
"It features Ralph Lauren's iconic Pony at the back for a dose of sporty Polo style."

The 2025 Ryder Cup takes place at Bethpage in New York from 26-28 September.
Luke Donald's European side are looking to retain the Cup having won by five points in Rome in 2023.
Europe are looking to become the first team to win the Ryder Cup away from home since the Miracle at Medinah in 2012.
Donald's players are competing in the BMW PGA at Wentworth this week, while Bradley's side are in action at the Procore Championship.
McIlroy is looking to win the BMW PGA for the second time in his career having won the famous DP World Tour event back in 2014.
The Northern Irishman produced one of the moments of his career when draining a 30 footer for eagle to force a playoff at the Irish Open on Sunday.
He then went on to win his second Irish Open in front of his adoring home fans once again at The K Club.

The only absentee for Europe at the BMW PGA is Sepp Straka, who continues to deal with "personal issues".
Xander Schauffele and Bryson DeChambeau are absent from Bradley's team at the Procore Championship.
Schauffele has seemingly wanted to remain fresh for the Ryder Cup, while DeChambeau remains suspended from the PGA Tour due to being an active LIV Golf player.
Bradley had urged as many of his players to compete in the Procore Championship at Silverado because he deemed Team USA got off to a slow start in Rome last time due to not having been in competition mode on the eve of the clash.
