Procore Championship Golf Betting Tips: bank on Ryder Cup stars to put on show
Procore Championship Golf Betting Tips: check out the latest PGA Tour picks from GolfMagic Editor and expert tipster Andy Roberts.
The Procore Championship welcomes its greatest ever field this week since it's the final PGA Tour event before the Ryder Cup in two weeks time, and the field is absolutely stacked as a result of Keegan Bradley's best urgings.
Captain Bradley felt one of the big reasons for Team USA's slow start at the 2023 Ryder Cup was a result of a lack of competitve reps in the build up to their biennial dust-up against Europe.
Zach Johnson's USA were swept aside 4-0 in the opening foursomes session and the deficit proved too large to peg back as Luke Donald's Europeans ran out deserved five-point victors.
Bradley has therefore urged his players to head to Silverado Resort's North Course and get in competition mode before the Ryder Cup.
The only player that refused to listen was Xander Schauffele, while Bryson DeChambeau remains suspended on the PGA Tour as a result of his ties to LIV Golf.
So with 10 of Bradley's 12 troops in the field this week, the Procore Championship welcomes a number of top American talent all ready to fine tune their games for Bethpage in two weeks' time.
In this article, I reveal my two outright picks to win the Procore Championship.
As always, please gamble responsibly.

It's hard to look past Scottie Scheffler just about every week on the PGA Tour, but especially this week in the final event before the Ryder Cup.
Scheffler has already won five times so far this season and I fully expect him to register a sixth win of 2025 and a first at the Procore.
The runaway World No.1 will want to prove his status as the best player in the world as he enters a third consecutive Ryder Cup match.
Scheffler was furious with his own performance last time around at Marco Simone, and he will be eager to make amends in New York.
Although Scheffler has never played at Silverado before, neither have many of his rivals at the front of the betting market.
Scheffler will be refreshed after two weeks off with his wife Meredith and baby boy Bennett, and he arrives here off the back of two wins, a third and a fourth in his last four starts on the PGA Tour.
The big boys don't typically play this event because of its position in the schedule and as the first FedEx Cup Fall event.
It's only because of the Ryder Cup that Scheffler is in town under captain Bradley's orders, but he will want to impress his skipper and put on a show.
With no McIlroy to worry about on the PGA Tour, it really is Scheffler's tournament to lose as silly as that sounds before a single shot has been struck.
Schauffele isn't in town either, just to make things even easier for Scheffler, albeit the World No.3 has been extremely off his game this season.
Scheffler is in a league of his own on the PGA Tour when McIlroy isn't about, and I fully expect to him to run away with this week's tournament.
As we all know by now, tournaments all come to down to whether Scheffler has brought a hot Spider putter with him.
If it has then it's game over for everyone, even when McIlroy is teeing it up alongside him.
Silverado is typically a birdie fest and Scheffler should eat this place alive, even if it is the first he's visited the North Course.
Yes, 5/2 is extremely short, we've entered Tiger Woods-prime odds these days, but he's undoubtedly the man everyone has to beat in Napa.

Russell Henley has had the season of his life on the PGA Tour, testament to vaulting a career-best positon of fourth in the world.
Although he's only won once on the PGA Tour this season at Bay Hill, he has been incredibly consistent.
Henley looks on the cusp of winning again and there's every reason to believe it will come this week ahead of the Ryder Cup.
Although he has missed the cut in this event the last two times he played at Silverado, that was back in 2016 and 2018 when his game was nowhere near where it is today.
Henley arrives in Napa off the back of seven consecutive top-20 finishes, including a runner-up finish at the Tour Championship last time out.
A sixth career win on the PGA Tour looks just a matter of time for Henley, who I think will run Scheffler the closest this week.
I'd even be prepared to play a Scheffler / Henley reverse forecast if you can get those odds with a bookmaker such is their current form.
Henley and Scheffler will also play together at the Ryder Cup, you have to believe.
They went 2-1 together at the 2024 Presidents Cup and I think Bradley will fancy sending them out together again in New York.
At best odds of 14/1, I think Henley looks the smart value play to chase Scheffler home.
Scheffler is my confident outright pick though, and I will be playing a straight double with Jon Rahm to win the BMW PGA over on the DP World Tour.
