Solheim Cup 2026 LIVE: Day 2 Scores, Updates and Highlights as Europe battle USA

Welcome to live updates as Europe and USA resume Solheim Cup battle with scores level at 4-4.

Day two of the 2026 Solheim Cup is officially underway, and there is absolutely nothing to separate Europe and the USA after a remarkable opening day.

The two sides are locked at 4-4, with Friday producing two tied sessions for the first time in Solheim Cup history. The morning foursomes finished 2-2 before the afternoon fourballs followed suit, leaving both teams knowing there is everything to play for heading into Saturday.

And now, the second day is up and running.

All four matches in the Saturday foursomes session are now on the course, with the first tee time coming at 6.40am GMT before the remaining matches followed at 12-minute intervals.

The opening contest sees Maja Stark and Linn Grant take on Nelly Korda and Allisen Corpuz, with the American pairing looking to continue their remarkable record together. Korda and Corpuz made history on Friday by becoming the first pairing in Solheim Cup history to win their first five matches together.

Next up, Leona Maguire and Esther Henseleit face Jennifer Kupcho and Rose Zhang, while European rookies Mimi Rhodes and Nastasia Nadaud are back out following their impressive fourball victory on Friday. They take on Andrea Lee and Auston Kim.

The final match sees arguably Europe's strongest pairing on paper in Charley Hull and Lottie Woad face Alison Lee and Lauren Coughlin, who both went unbeaten on day one.

There was plenty of drama on Friday, with Europe fighting back after the USA made the stronger start in the morning foursomes. The Americans then threatened to edge the afternoon session before Carlota Ciganda produced a huge par putt on the 18th to secure a half-point for Europe and ensure the teams finished the day all square.

Now the slate has been wiped clean.

With four more foursomes matches followed by fourballs this afternoon, Saturday represents a huge opportunity for either side to seize control of the contest.

Stay with GolfMagic throughout the morning for live scores, key moments, match updates and reaction as Europe and the USA go head-to-head in the second day of Solheim Cup action.

Hull and Woad 3 down

It's a bogey from Hull and Woad on the par-3 6th and the star European duo finds themselves with a mountain to climb at 3 down.

Lee and Coughlin have been unbeaten so far this week, and that trend looks like it's going to continue this morning.

Hull and Woad just haven't had it so far this week, which will be a cause for concern for captain Nordqvist.

Here's how we stand right now:

Europe 4up on Nelly!

Korda fails to convert an eight footer for par on the 9th.

Europe now 4up and in total command.

EUROPE EAGLE TO GO 3UP

Stark chips in for eagle on the short par-4 8th to put Europe 3up thru eight holes.

Korda and Corpuz's unbeaten record is in severe danger here.

Europe just 1up in Match 3

Andrea Lee and Auston Kim haul a hole back for the Americans in Match 3 with a brilliant birdie-two on the par-3 6th.

European rookies Mimi Rhodes and Nastasia Nadaud, who won their first match together in the Friday afternoon fourballs, remain with the lead though at 1up.

08:25
Hull and Woad 2 down

It goes from bad to worse for Europe's strongest pairing (on paper at least).

After making a par on the par-5 5th, Hull and Woad now find themselves 2 down to in-form duo Lee and Coughlin.

Still a long way to go in this match of course, but it will be very interesting to see if captain Anna Nordqvist decides to stick or twist with this pairing in the fourballs this afternoon.

It's just not quite clicking as everyone thought it might do this week.

Europe move 2up in top game

Swedish duo Maja Stark and Linn Grant are putting on a show in the top game against World No.1 Nelly Korda and her playing partner Allisen Corpuz.

The Europeans, who share a close bond, have stretched into a 2up lead thru seven holes.

Korda and Corpuz set a new Solheim Cup record yesterday when going 5-0 together, which is something no pairing has ever done in the contest's history dating back to 1990.

But is the streak about to end here?

Elsewhere, Jennifer Kupcho and Rose Zhang have put USA 2up in Match 2.

USA up in two, down in two.

We still can't split the teams!

USA up in Match 4

Alison Lee and Lauren Coughlin have just put USA 1up in the bottom match against arguably Europe's strongest pairing on paper, Charley Hull and Lottie Woad.

Hull and Woad are still looking for their first full point after taking just half a point from two matches alongside each other on Friday.

Lee and Coughlin went unbeaten on day one, with Lee taking a full two points from two and Coughlin earning 1.5 points.

Hull is making her eighth Solheim Cup appearance this week, while Woad is making her debut.
