Masters 2026 odds are out - and the favourite is no shock
Early odds for the 2026 Masters Tournament at Augusta National favour Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy and a young and fearless Swede.
It won't be too long until we are saying that the 2026 Masters is right around the corner.
Rory McIlroy walked away with the green jacket this year, ending a 10-year wait for a major championship trophy.
It also saw the Northern Irishman go down in the history books as only the sixth male golfer to have achieved the career grand slam.
An unburdened McIlroy, 36, was expected to mount challenges at the US Open, Open and PGA Championship after his triumph at Augusta National.

But McIlroy struggled a touch for motivation after finally scaling his own personal Everest.
Scottie Scheffler won two major championships in 2025 (PGA Championship, The Open) so it's no real surprise to hear that he is the favourite to win his third green jacket next April.
Let's take a look.
The favourites
Scottie Scheffler (4/1)
The 29-year-old Texan will be the man to beat, providing he can avoid making homemade pasta between now and April. Scheffler is widely considered to be the best golfer of the post-Tiger Woods era and will be looking to win his fifth major title. Scheffler, who won six PGA Tour titles in 2025, won The Masters for the first time in 2022 and again 2024.
Rory McIlroy (8/1)
Before McIlroy won The Masters, it did appear to be the case that the Northern Irishman always, more often than not, brought his best game to Augusta. Since 2015, McIlroy has racked up seven top-10 finishes.
Ludvig Aberg (12/1)
The young Swede, who turned professional in 2023, is young and fearless. His first Masters appearance in 2024 saw him finish solo second. It was even more impressive as it was his first ever appearance in a major. Aberg has been touted as a future world number one, but has struggled a touch with a knee injury over the past 12 months. Aberg will most definitely be eyeing up 2026 as the year he can finally win a tournament on the biggest stage.
Danger men
Bryson DeChambeau and Jon Rahm can both currently be found at odds of 14/1.
DeChambeau added a second major title to his CV at the 2024 US Open and played in the final group alongside McIlroy at the 2025 Masters.
Provided DeChambeau remains injury-free, the American will believe he has a great chance of winning the green jacket.
Rahm won The Masters in 2023 after Brooks Koepka surrendered his lead. The Spaniard's record in the majors has been mixed since that victory.
Xander Schauffele can be found at 16/1, whilst Tommy Fleetwood and Collin Morikawa are 20/1.
Schauffele always appears to be in contention will glad to see the back of 2025 after struggling with a rib injury.
Fleetwood finally won in the United States in September and will undoubtedly feel less pressure on his shoulders having finally got rid of the moniker of golf's nearly man.
Long shots
Former Masters champ Patrick Reed and former PGA Championship winner Jason Day are in a group at 50/1.
Dustin Johnson will be looking to prove his doubters wrong and is priced at 66/1.
What about Tiger Woods?
Well, it remains to be seen whether Woods will be back in action in 2026.
Woods, 49, is currently priced at 125/1. His former adversary, Phil Mickelson, is the same price.
