Paul McGinley believes "something is not right" after Rory McIlroy's latest US Open comments
Paul McGinley believes "something is eating at" Rory McIlroy after he cut another frustrated figure in front of the media at the US Open.

Paul McGinley believes "there's something not right" after hearing Rory McIlroy's latest comments to reporters after the third round of the US Open.
McIlroy, 36, carded a lacklustre 74 in third round of the US Open at Oakmont.
It sees the Northern Irishman fall to 10-over par and 14 shots off the pace heading into the final round.
In round two, McIlroy tomahawked an iron on 12 and smashed a tee box marker on 17.
He's cut a frustrated and downbeat figure all week, and two months after winning The Masters to complete the career grand slam.
McIlroy spoke to reporters on Saturday for the first time since shunning interviews after six straight major tournament rounds.
He told reporters at Oakmont that he has "earned the right to do whatever I want" when it comes to snubbing interview requests.
In the eyes of McIlroy, this is going to become a regular thing for him dodging interviews.
McIlroy remains irritated by the golf media.
When pressed further as to whether it's his dip in form that has contributed to him not wanting to speak with the media much these days, McIlroy replied: "No, not really. It's more frustration with you guys."
McIlroy had already confirmed during last week's RBC Canadian Open that he was "p****d" after two media members leaked information about his driver failing a USGA test ahead of the PGA Championship last month.
"Yeah, that was a part of it," McIlroy continued.
"But it's not as if -- like at Augusta I skipped you guys on Thursday, so yeah, again, it's not if as if -- it's not out of the ordinary.
"I've done it before; I'm just doing it a little more often."

Another reporter then asked McIlroy if he has any particular thoughts or feelings with 18 holes left to play at the US Open.
"Hopefully a round in under four and a half hours and get out of here."
After hearing McIlroy's latest comments, former European Ryder Cup captain and golf analyst Paul McGinley has had his say on matters.
McGinley thinks McIlroy "looks fed up" and that "he's had enough of everything."
The Irishman goes further by saying "something is eating at him but he hasn't let us know what it is..."
McGinley said of McIlroy's latest comments:
"I didn't enjoy them. I don't like to see that. I think Rory's better than that. Either not talking to the media or giving a press conference like that doesn't serve him fairly or rightly for the person that he is. He looks fed up to me. He looks like he's had enough of everything. Whether it was the emotional release of everything that's gone on in his career, I don't know, but he's not himself. This is not normal. When he does that, because people look up to him, a conference like that with his body language and short language doesn't serve him right. I don't like to see it. I'm disappointed for Rory that it's come to that. Something is eating at him. He hasn't let us know what it is, but there's something not right."
Tiger Woods' former long-time golf coach Hank Haney has also weighed in.
Haney believes "Rory is worn out."
He adds "it's probably a combination of a lot of things."
