Vegas -6 (2)
It's a nervy start from our leader Vegas.
He misses a seven footer for par on the par-4 2nd to fall back to 6-under par.
Vegas is now just one ahead.
Hovland -1 (3)
It's a disasterclass from Hovland in wedge play on the par-4 12th.
After coming up shy of the green. Hovland chunked two chips in a row before getting up and down for double.
It sends him back to 1-under par.

Homa is now 5-under par for his first six holes and up to 3-under par for the tournament.
Hovland -3 (2)
Hovland sends a beautiful iron shot into six feet and he converts the birdie putt to move to 3-under par.
Four back for the European Ryder Cup hero who is seeking a first major title.
Hatton -4 (5)
Sloppy bogey for Hatton on the short par-4 14th.
Hatton found the water with his tee shot and he failed to get up and down for par.
The bogey sees Hatton fall back to 4-under par.
Mentally that is like two shots dropped on the 14th.
The president of Quail Hollow Club has hit back at multiple PGA Tour winner Hunter Mahan after he compared the venue for the 2025 major to a Kardashian.

The American is now up to 3-under par.

He is seeking a first ever major title.
Homa has history at Quail Hollow Club having won here on the PGA Tour in both 2019 and 2022.
Davis -5 (6)
It's been a slow start for Cam Davis, but the Aussie has just chipped in from off the green on the par-3 6th.
Davis is back to level on the round and into a tie for second again.
Morikawa -3 (3)
Morikawa sinks a second birdie in three holes by curling in a 20-footer on the par-4 12th.
The claw grip is working well!
There should be a fair few birdies on the 12th hole today with the pin position nicely tucked away in a bowl on the front left of the green.
Then again, if you miss the slope beyond the pin, you will be more than happy to walk away with a two-putt par.
Morikawa's latest birdie lifts him up to 3-under par to move him four shots off the pace.
DeChambeau -1 (1)
It's an opening birdie for LIV Golf superstar Bryson DeChambeau on the par-5 10th.
Bryson is back in the red.
Aberg -2 (2)
Aberg curls in a 15-footer for birdie on the par-4 11th, his second hole of the round.
It moves the Swede to 2-under par.
Hatton -5 (3)
Hatton had his back to the hole with his side-winding birdie putt from 35 feet.
He sent his ball down the slope to 10 feet beyond the hole but duly drained the par save.
Great start for the LIV Golf star.
Morikawa -2 (1)
Morikawa sends a beautiful wedge shot into seven feet and then drains the birdie putt.
It moves Morikawa up to 2-under par.
The American is going in search of a third major title having won the PGA in 2020 and The Open in 2021.
Spieth +3 (1)
It's unlikely going to be Spieth's week as he goes in pursuit of the career grand slam, but he's made a fantastic start to his second round.
Spieth fired in a fairway wood to a few feet and then drained the putt for eagle to move up to 3-over par.
The cut is likely going to fall around 2-over par today so Spieth will be looking to make the weekend and then take it low over the final two days.
Hatton -5 (2)
This is some start for Hatton!
After a birdie on the 10th, his first hole of the round, the Englishman has added another on the 11th.
Hatton straight up to T2.
Davis -4 (3)
It's a sloppy bogey at the 3rd for Davis, who falls back into a tie for third on 4-under par.

That's his first hole of the round.

Could Hatton pick up a first major title?

Hi guys and girls, Andy Roberts, GolfMagic Editor here to take you through the early stages of the second round of the 2025 PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Club.
The first groups of the day will tee off in about 45 minutes time.
In the early wave of Friday groups, we've got the likes of Bryson DeChambeau, Collin Morikawa, Ludvig Aberg and Justin Thomas out on the course.
That will then whet the appetite for the marquee group of the day - Rory McIlroy, Scottie Scheffler and Xander Schauffele.
The world's top three players will get their second round underway at 1.47pm local time, which is 6.47pm for those of you in the U.K.
McIlroy will need to take it low to haul himself back into contention for a third PGA Championship title after starting with a lacklustre 3-over 74.
Schauffele also fell out the gates with a 1-over 72, while World No.1 recovered well in the end for a 2-under 69.
Day-one leader Jhonattan Vegas (7-under par) gets his second round off and running at 9.01am local time.
Vegas birdied five of his last six holes to vault to the top of the leaderboard on Thursday.
He leads by two shots over Ryan Gerard and Cam Davis.
A host of players are then stacked in behind on 4-under par and 3-under par respectively.
We're all set for a big day here at Quail Hollow.
Fire up the kettle - or something stronger - and strap yourselves in for the second round of the PGA Championship.
