Harborne Church Farm Golf Course - Warwickshire, England
When both golf and farm appear in the name of a golf course alarm bells should be ringing but for £3.75 all you should be expecting is something resembling a fairway and a homemade flag.
This short course was designed in 1893 by Harry Colt and the club boasts of the superb greens on offer. Reviews of the course testify to the contrary and suggest the course is not maintained to a high standard and there are complaints of tired fairways and overgrown greens but let's be honest: it looks great!
The course offers nine holes that can be played twice to make the full 18. Accuracy off the tee is essential as the course is tight and punishes those who stray from the fairway.
Price: £3.75 when teeing off from 12:15 – 17:58 on Wednesday April 10, 2013
