Newbold Comyn Golf Course – Warwickshire, England
Golfers in Warwickshire are spoilt for choice! Here they are offered a front nine that is set as a parkland layout and a back nine designed as a links style golf course.
Designed in 1973 from what was previously farmland this course also offers a pro shop, a pitch and putt, a practice area and a pub for that all important post-round refreshment.
The website pays tribute to the clubs undulating, high quality greens and fairways but the bi-polar layout isn’t to everyone’s taste. Golfers complain of inconsistency between the nines with the standard of the back nine said to not match the front nine with drainage pinpointed as an issue.
All in all this looks an interesting round at a jaw-dropping price.
