The Grove unveils innovative Caddie programme

THE GROVE recently took its market-leading guest experience to the next level following the implementation of an innovative new Caddie programme.

Designed to enhance the overall offering and provide a traditional service for the many visiting golfers that flock to the revered UK golf resorts,  the new initiative will enable guests to walk the fairways whilst taking advantage of expertly trained caddies and their invaluable local knowledge.

Continually looking to better the unparalleled service and hospitality at the 5* resort, this new initiative is sure to set this hertfordshire beauty at an all-new level above.

Anna Darnell, Director of Golf at The Grove, said: "We have always strived to go the extra mile for our guests and I firmly believe the introduction of our team of highly trained caddies will give an added dimension to what is already a memorable experience.

"Having looked at some of the other Great British golfing venues, we saw that caddies are a common theme and something we could add to our offering. With the team we have in place and the characters we have assembled I am truly excited to see the programme take shape and become a standout service feature at The Grove."

The enhanced new golf service will see guests, both corporate and individual have access to the very best in caddie service, from a selection of expertly trained specialist who will be at hand to guide golfers around the Kyle Phillips designed Championship course.

The scheme is also supported by Nikon, the industry leader in range finding technology, ensuring only the most precise yardages are shared between the caddie and the golfer.

Conveniently located by the M25 and a mere 30 minutes’ drive from Heathrow and just 17 minutes from London Euston, The Grove was designed by esteemed architect Kyle Phillips and has quickly gained a reputation for its year-long immaculate championship condition, with the most well regarded putting surfaces in the game.

These factors were influential in the course’s hosting of The WGC American Express Championship in 2006 won by Tiger Woods and more recently when being selected as the UK home of the renowned Dave Pelz Scoring Game Schools.

The Grove, London’s Country Estate, is idyllically located in the heart of the Hertfordshire country-side and ideally situated for city breaks to London. 26 phenomenal Grade II Listed Mansion House rooms or suites offer a fabulous blend of period style and original modern art and furniture whilst the contemporary West Wing provides 191 spacious, luxury rooms perfect for family breaks.

The 7,152 yard championship golf course can be played throughout the year without limitations; it’s no surprise it is highly regarded as one of the most welcoming clubs in the UK.
