9. Wearing dead gloves

You know the story. Last time you played it rained, and then you left your glove in the bag. Now it’s a crispy rag, with holes worn all over it - CHUCK IT OUT!

Getting a new glove isn’t going to break the bank, and it will help you not only grip the club, but also with your feel.

Wearing old gloves can also lead to blisters, which can halt your game mid round - and one wants that to happen.
