HENRIK STENSON

Henrik Stenson is probably the most famous user of all when it comes to Tour pros using older equipment, simply because his famous Callaway Diablo Octane Tour 3-wood from 2010 gets the most air time.

Stenson relied heavily on his 13-degree model to win his maiden major at the 2016 Open, and most recently when clinching his sixth PGA Tour title at the Wyndham Championship.

The Swede loves the club so much, it has never left him since it launched seven years ago. So much so, he has a number of Graffaloy Blue X shafts on standby for this low lofted 3-wood since Callaway has stopped making the exact specification he currently uses.

Stenson has never been the straightest with a driver in his hand, hence why he goes most tournaments without even having one in the bag - but when you can still spank a 3-wood some 300 yards on average and most of the time down the middle of the fairway, why would you look at anything else?
