Finding the right driver for your golf game is one of the most important purchasing considerations you need to make in 2019, especially with so much updated technology at our fingertips.
Yes a brand new driver with all the latest fancy tech behind it will probably give you a few extra yards here or there, but just because something costs in the region of £350 doesn't mean you'll automatically keep on hitting the fairway.
GolfMagic has trawled through the latest sales on eBay right now to pick out what we consider to be five best all-round performing drivers offering you plenty of Bang for your buck. You will need to be quick though, as these deals run out by Sunday...
#1 - TaylorMade BURNER SUPERFAST TP DRIVER - £40
One of the longest drivers of its day, albeit a little old now, but for £40 you cannot go wrong.
Brandt Snedeker used this driver for years, and won plenty of titles with it on the PGA Tour even when he could have switched to the latest drivers for absolutely nothing. It just goes to show, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."
The sound of it is a little clangy, especially compared with the latest M5 and M6 drivers of today, but it's a club that will definitely keep you in play more often than not.
It comes with a nice Matrix Ozik HD6 shaft in stiff flex, and it also has a nice clean Golf Pride original grip.
According to the write up, there is a "slight sky mark on the toe end of the crown but apart from that the club is in good condition."
#2 - TAYLORMADE R15 DRIVER - £41
One of our favourite drivers of 2015, but it still competes with the best drivers of today. It's long, accurate and one of the most adjustable drivers you will ever find.
The R15 driver features a lower and more forward center of gravity (CG) to promote higher launch and lower spin.
Its clever Front Track system performs like a Speed Pocket, reducing spin and increasing the size of the sweet spot.
According to its write up: "Fantastic condition, has been used less than 10 times, and as you can see from the pictures is almost new."
It also comes with its headcover.
#3 - Callaway XR DRIVER - £49
Callaway's XR driver is a power-packed driver built for extra yardage.
This one, available for some £50, comes with a nice Project X 6.0 stiff shaft and a Golf Pride MCC grip.
The write up claims the clubhead features a "few minor scratches", but we can assure this will not detract it from its performance.
Adjustable head which allows you to set it 2 degrees higher or 1 degree lower. Or adjust it to draw setting. Multi tool is included!
#4 - Cobra AMP LIMITED EDITION DRIVER - £50
The Cobra AMP driver was one of our favourite drivers when it first landed some eight years ago now.
The head shape will likely appeal to you over the ball, and the sound at impact offers great feedback. We also found this to be particularly long and forgiving off the tee during testing.
Yes, Cobra has heavily revamped its KING technology in recent years - especially with the Cobra KING F9 SPEEDBACK of this season - but this one will still pack a serious punch up against it.
This one comes in a Rickie Fowler-style limited edition orange colour, in 9.5-degree and a 59g Diamana shaft in stiff flex.
You will definitely look the envy of your playing partners with this one in the bag. £50 is a very fair price.
#5 - TAYLORMADE M1 DRIVER - £43
Several years old now, but one of TaylorMade's finest ever drivers. Long, accurate and easy to adjust.
This driver comes with a Mitsubishi Kuro Kage 60 shaft in stiff flex, and a clean Lamkin grip. It also comes with the headcover.
The write up states there is "some face and sole wear", but for less than £50, it certainly represents a bit of a steal.
