The Italian started the final round five shots behind Rasmus Hojgaard, but with five consecutive birdies from hole 6 to hole 10, he sprung into contention.
Migliozzi made his eighth birdie on the 15th hole to hit the top of the leaderboard in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines. He was level with Hojgaard in the middle of the final fairway and he proceeded to hit a stunning faded approach to six feet.
The 25-year-old rolled in the decisive putt for a course record-equalling round of 9-under-par. He beat Hojgaard by a shot to win on the DP World Tour for the first time since the Belgian Knockout in 2019.
"It was one of those days that I love to play golf. I love to battle on the golf course and today I received something back from golf. It was a beautiful day of golf," said Migliozzi.
"I was trying to be more comfortable on the course and at the start of the weekend I was 13 shots back but yesterday, Rasmus missed the second hole and it almost opened the door again and I just kept playing great.
"The shot was something incredible (on the 18th hole). I went for it and it paid off. My caddie was not happy: it was not the real strategy but I felt I could try."
Migliozzi used a full bag of Callaway and Odyssey clubs at Le Golf National which hosted the Ryder Cup in 2018. He will certainly have next September in mind when the matches go to Marco Simone in Rome.
