Tiger Woods makes his first start of 2020 at the Farmers Insurance Open this week, and he will have a host of new golf clubs and a new golf ball in play at Torrey Pines this week.

While a TaylorMade staff player when it comes to golf clubs, Woods has been working closely with the golf ball manufacturing team at Bridgestone Golf for the past couple of years.

Woods and Bridgestone have revamped its Tour B line of golf balls with the new Tour B X, Tour B XS, Tour B RX and Tour B RXS to cater for a number of different playing abilites.

The 15-time major champion will be teeing it up with the Tour B XS ball, while the likes of Bryson DeChambeau and Matt Kuchar have been spotted using the Tour B X ball in recent weeks. Kuchar in fact won with that ball in play at the Singapore Open last week.

Woods' Tour B XS ball features the company's new REACTIV urethane cover technology, which the brand says allows you to get more distance and more spin out of the same golf ball.

In partnership with Woods and his feedback of the ball, Bridgestone claims: "This ball is designed to fit golfers with Tour fast swing speeds of over 105mph. It has a softer feel and maximum greenside spin, allowing you to stop approach and pitch shots on a dime."

The Bridgestone Tour B XS ball retails at $44.99 per dozen.

Woods is also expected to be using the new TaylorMade SIM driver during his first PGA Tour event of 2020.
