Watson leaves Volvik - going back to Titleist ball

Bubba Watson has terminated his multi-year contract with Volvik golf balls and will go back to a Titleist.

The big-hitting American signed with Volvik, known for their coloured products, earlier in the year.

“I do not have a ball deal as we sit here today,” he said. “So I can play with whatever ball I want to.

“My deal was up, and so I’m … ball-free. I’m just going to go back to what I grew up with.”

Watson’s form has slumped in 2017, recording only two top ten finishes on the PGA Tour last season.
