Bettinardi's The Hive series of limited-edition releases has given us some of the most fun recent putter releases we've seen in the last few years.

The American milled putter brand teamed up with Guinness on a retro-styled collection in the lead-up to The Open last year, and followed that up to start the season with what's become a yearly tradition in their latest Tiki putter range.

Now, entering its 25th year making some of the finest putters in the market, Bettinardi has released its latest classy collaboration, teaming up with esteemed Bourbon label W.L. Weller.

W.L. Weller is one of the most esteemed names in the Buffalo Trace family of distilleries, manufacturing rare and exclusive Bourbon whiskies since its inception with a particular emphasis on using wheat instead of rye as a flavoring grain. The result is some of the softest, smoothest whiskey in the American category.

“This collaboration with W.L. Weller continues a relationship we value greatly with the Buffalo Trace Distillery team,” said Sam Bettinardi, President of Bettinardi Golf. “Weller’s history and approach to craftsmanship mirror the way we think about product design — taking the time to do things the right way.”

The collection is centred around an ultra-limited selection of putters, precision-milled at Bettinardi's workshop in Tinley Park, Illinois. It also includes special edition head covers, divot tools and ball markers themed around Weller's classic logo and the motif of its signature Antique 107 whiskey.

“From the putters to the accessories, every piece in this collection was designed with purpose,” Bettinardi added. “The goal was to create items that feel authentic to both brands and that golfers will enjoy using.”

You can shop the full collection at Bettinardi's website when it drops at 10am CT on February 19.
