Tiger Woods’ Sun Day Red unveils U.S. Open-inspired summer collection

Tiger Woods' apparel and footwear brand Sun Day Red has released its 2026 Summer Championship Collection today, a limited-edition drop designed for elite summer golf and available now at sundayred.com.

The launch arrives just ahead of U.S. Open week at Shinnecock Hills, leaning into the demands and atmosphere of championship golf on the East Coast. 

Woods, a three-time U.S. Open winner, will not compete in the championship from 18-21 June. 

Built around a red, white and navy palette, the collection draws inspiration from shifting coastal conditions — bright skies, native grasses and the unpredictable weather that defines summer golf on Long Island. 

Sun Day Red has told GolfMagic the new range is designed not only for aesthetic impact but also for performance under pressure, with a focus on mobility, breathability and multi-day wear.

At the centre of the drop is the Cardinal Polo ($145), a modern reworking of one of the most iconic polos from Woods’ amateur career. 

Reconstructed in a Heritage fit with a two-piece body and stripe detailing, it uses a high-cooling yarn fabric engineered for performance in warm conditions and is being released in limited quantities across original and alternate colourways.

The Yachty Yachty Polo ($125) adds a more expressive, lifestyle-led design, featuring a nautical print inspired by the coastal communities surrounding the tournament. 

Built in Sun Day Red’s soft Icon fabric, it includes a three-button placket, drop tail and soft-touch collar.

Footwear includes two limited-edition models in a red, white and blue colourway: the Presidio LE ($215), a spikeless performance shoe featuring a dual durometer outsole, multi-directional traction and TPU stability support; and the Osprey LE ($185), a versatile on and off-course silhouette designed for all-day wear beyond the fairways.

A second drop follows on 11 June with a limited Vessel accessories capsule in “Red Out” PU leather, featuring chain-stitched Tiger branding. 

Highlights include a Player V 6-way stand bag ($530), Boston bag ($375), shoe bag ($150) and travel organiser ($135), alongside Americana-themed headcovers.
