Sometimes in life you just have to laugh at yourself - especially if you've gone viral on the Internet.
Golf simulators are very popular and much more so now as we enter the winter months and the evenings start to draw in.
They are of course great when you go for a fitting or even just fancy playing Augusta National with a few beers with your pals.
And it's no surprise people film their swings, which makes it all the more likely something hilarious will be caught on film.

A video has gone viral on the popular Instagram page @golf_gods and it's not a pretty sight.
The player, dressed in jeans with his shirt tucked in takes his address.
He winds the club back to the top in fairly good position and lets rip.
Yet the problem is the ball clearly find the hosel of the hybrid and the ball ricochets off the wall to the right.

It then cannons onto his intended target then comes back towards his head at speed and then: crack.
Very painful and he heads towards the floor in agony - we hope he is okay.

Just look at that.
Ouch.
We're not sure how this is possible generally yet it is all the more impressive the player has done it with a hybrid.
