Perhaps this golfer should practice his swing on the driving range or make sure he has more space next time.

'This was a twist I didn't see coming': Golfer smashes COFFEE table doing drills

In the United Kingdom our evenings are drawing in now and getting on the course if you're a 9-5 will only get tougher.

That is why we will have to turn to the packed driving ranges so we can keep our games sharp before the season starts up again next year.

There are so many goals that we have as amateur golfers and things we always need to work on.

As you have no doubt been told by your pro if you've ever had a lesson - feels are very different to reality.

That is why it is important to always video record your golf swing so you can see the reality of how you are swinging.

This one golfer decided to do such a thing and practice his swing in his living room.

Decked out in his golf shoes and shorts, our protagonist takes one practice swing successfully before the inevitable happens.

Take a look at the video below:

Remarkably, it is a twist we didn't see coming.

That TV is there in all its glory and yet it is the glass coffee table that is destroyed.

Some of the comments included:

"Would've been a hell of a draw"

"What did he hit? A sonic boom?"

"I cannot figure this out"
