Rickie Fowler, Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth are all set to play in the second Playoff event of the FedEx Cup this week, the BMW Championship at Medinah Country Club. The three Americans are all very good friends and often share rooms for some of golf's biggest tournaments, but with the BMW Championship just around the corner, the three decided to prepare in a very unique way.

On Monday, Thomas posted an Instagram story of the three players hitting some shots left handed. All three players are right handed, but both Thomas and Fowler looked very comfortable striking the ball with their supposed 'weaker' hand. Spieth on the other hand, looked a little more uncomfortable...

Thomas and Fowler currently sit 15th and 17th in the FedEx Cup standings, respectively, and look in excellent position to make a move up the standings if they put in a good shift at Medinah this week.

Spieth has his work cut out if he is to make it to the Tour Championship. He currently sits in 44th place and it's projected that the three-time major champion will need to finish ninth or better at the BMW Championship this week if he is to guarentee his spot at the Tour Championship in September. If Spieth fails to seal his spot, it will be the second year in a row that he has failed to qualify for the Tour Championship.

Tiger Woods slipped to 38th in the FedEx Cup standings, after he withdrew from The Northern Trust after the first round due to injury. He is now 97 points behind Andrew Putnam who currently holds the 30th spot.
