We all have our own way of getting the ball around the golf course. Some people do it Bryson DeChambeau style, some people nudge it around and shoot a good score too.
We all have our own swings which represent our understanding of how to hit the golf ball. As many players on the PGA Tour have shown us, sometimes the best and most satisfying swing does not produce the most success.
Jim Furyk, Bubba Watson and Matthew Wolff are three players that come to mind who have experienced great success with unorthodox swings.
Do it your own way. Of course, golf lessons can be crucial to your future success and tutors can sharpen up your swing and make you play better.
But it is important to do it your own way, just like this incredible golfer in the footage above. Even the likes of Furyk, Watson and Wolff cannot relate to this unique golfer's swing.
Firstly, the man is bent down a long way towards the ground. You fear for the state of his spine if this is the swing that he uses for every single shot.
His hands are almost touching the floor, he is that close to the ground. And the clubface is almost standing up vertically to the ball on the tee.
Just before he swings back, he moves his hands ahead of the ball. After he swings through, he powers into the shot and brings his right foot to land in front of the blue tee pegs.
It is a truly incredible swing that needs to be seen to be believed. It is fair to say that if you want to avoid severe back pain when you're older, you should try another technique.
