Tony Finau and Lexi Thompson may be team-mates at this week's QBE Shootout in Florida, but they were battling each other on Wednesday as they took part in the 'one-club challenge'.
Teeing up on a 362-yard par-4 at Tiburon Golf Club, Finau (one of the longest hitters on the PGA Tour) used a 9-iron, while Thompson (one of the biggest hitters on the LPGA Tour) used a 6-iron.
Finau and Thompson felt they could hit their chosen clubs at least 180 yards to ensure a fair test, and to be able to reach the green in two shots. Watch the video below to see the outcome...
The QBE Shootout, celebrating its 30th playing of the tournament this week, is hosted by Greg Norman and features 12 teams.
Cameron Champ and Kevin Kisner have been installed as early favourites, narrowly ahead of pairings Bryson DeChambeau and Kevin Na, Brandt Snedeker and Billy Horschel and Luke List and Charles Howell III.
