Angry LIV Golf player tells Sky Sports reporter to "go f*** yourself"

Sky Sports News' Jamie Weir has described how an unnamed LIV Golf player told him to "go f*** himself" when asked a question at the 150th Open Championship at St Andrews last week.

Weir reportedly asked the LIV Golfer whether he was at all concerned that The Open could be his last major championship for a while.

LIV Golf player Lee Westwood responded to Weir's tweet by saying he heard the conversation in question at St Andrews, but then he also took aim at the Sky Sports News reporter for having an apparent "agenda" against LIV Golf players.

Weir tweeted about the angry LIV Golf player in response to Nosferatu's projected world rankings of LIV Golf players at the end of 2022 and end of March 2023 assuming no more OWGR events are played.

"Odd how one of the players listed below, when I asked him at The Open if he was at all concerned this could be his last major or a while, told me to "go f*** myself" and that it was a "f***ing s*** question."

Westwood responded to Weir's tweet: "It wasn't me but I did overhear the conversation in question. Jamie works for Sky. They cover the PGA & DPWT. Where do you think their loyalties lie and what their agenda is?"

Weir hit back with: "How is asking 'are you concerned this could be your last major for a while?' showing any agenda?!!"

Westwood replied: "Are you sat on your phone? I'm going to need a bigger boat!"

Golf fans have since been chiming in to the tweets by trying to figure out which LIV Golf player made the comments to Weir.
