Ernie's bag features no 2-, 3- or 4-iron!

ADAMS GOLF is renowned for having the No.1 hybrids on Tour and new staff player Ernie Els has only strengthened that notion since signing to play the company's equipment this year.

Taking a look inside The Big Easy's bag for 2014, the four-time major champion has opted for five woods, five irons and three wedges - a setup not dissimilar to someone playing on the LPGA Tour.

Els has favoured the TaylorMade SLDR driver (10.5-degree), two Adams Golf Tight Lies fairway woods (14.5- and 18-degree) and Adams Golf Super 9031 utility irons (20- and 23-degree).

He's also chosen new Adams Golf XTD Forged irons but given the choice of extra utilities, starts with just a longest iron of a 5-iron right through to PW, as well as Adams Golf M. Puglielli wedges.

The South African will also sport a different putter with the Yes! Stacy 12 Mid and as we anticipated even during his contract with Callaway at the end of 2013, he's made an official switch to play TaylorMade Lethal ball.
